About:Chinese Embassy in Singapore

Hi
I have an intern who will be going to shanghai for half a year starting in august . Kindly advise on what are the procedure and application required. He is on internship for a year with our company and I will like to transfer him to shanghai for half a year. He is a Singaporean and will be working at our shanghai office . Kindly advise us on the procedure accordingly for internship at shanghai for half a year
- how and where should he apply
- how long will it take to get the visa approved
- what are the documents require

1. He should apply for China business visa at the Chinese Visa Application Service Center in Singapore, the business visa can be issued to aliens who come to China for intern for less than 6 months.

2. it takes 4 working days for the visa processing

3. the requirements for business visa application are:
One completely filled out visa application form. No item should be blank .

One recently taken 2X2 in. photo showing entire face and without a hat on. Please affix the photo to the application form.

Original passport with at least 2 blank visa pages and valid for at least 6 months beyond the date of application.

Visa conformation letter from an economic and trade bureau or a foreign affairs office of the provincial or municipal government.
