About:Chinese Embassy in India

Hi,

I am currently working in USA and i am planning to visit home(India) in September. I was planning a vacation to Hong Kong and China for a week. Is it possible for me to get the visa in USA itself or do i need to come to India and than get the Visa?? and do i need 2 separate visas as in 1 for China and 1 for Hong Kong.. And in the Hong Kong immigration site i noticed that for a visit of less than 14 days i might not require a visa is this true??

Thanks

Yes, it is true that you can visit Hong Kong without visa for 14 days. You need apply for a visa to mainland China through either Chinese Embassy in USA (or consulate zccording where you reside)or that in India.
