About:Chinese Embassy in India

I have received an offer to teach in Southern Medical University in China. They are advising me to come on business visa and later applying for work permit when I am in China for me and my wife.
Is it reliable to accept the offer

Mr.A K Khare, it is reliable, as I know, some universities ask their employees to come to China on business visa, then the university applies work permit for them.
