About:Chinese Embassy in India

i am an indian passport holder .now i am working in qatar i want to visit shanghai.how can i apply tourist visa.what are the procedures.need to submit bank statement

First please prepare the below requirements for China tourist visa:
1. your passport and its copy
2. one filled visa application form affixed with one passport photo
3. Photocopy of a confirmed return air ticket
4. Covering letter from your company or employer addressed to the visa office
5. Qatar work permit or residence permit and its copy
6. you may be requested to supply proof of travel expenses

Then submit the application to China embassy in Qatar in person or entrust someone else (friend/travel agency/visa agency)to submit it.

Please let me know if business visa can be issued for wife also or she has to wait until work permit is issued.
While on business visa, is it possible to remit salary?

what do you mean for her work permit? from China or India? the F (business) visa to China requires a Visa notification letter from relevant authorities in China, and Covering letter from applicant's company or employer addressed to visa office.
