About:Chinese Embassy in UAE

I'am a Filipino passport holder working in Abu Dhabi, UAE and invited by a Chinese friend to attend her wedding on October. I'll be staying there for 10 days only.

Concerning the application of China visa, my UAE residence visa is valid only until 12 December 2010. I understand that as per the requirements, it needs to be valid for 6 months in order to acquire a visa. Are there exceptions to this requirement? My employer is willing to give NOC and any supporting documents. please advise .

It is totally up to the judgement of visa officer, you can have a try to apply for a single-entry L visa at the China embassy in Abu Dhabi.
