About:FAQ of Chinese Visa Application

Hi there,

I have a flight connection from Korea through Hong Kong. So I will be staying at Hong Kong airport (I won't be leaving the airport) for 2 hours before catching my next flight with a different airline to South Africa. Do I need a visa for this? I am South African.

Thank you!ha

You don't need a visa for the stopover in Hong Kong because Passport holders of South Africa are exempt from a visa to Hong Kong for up to 30 days.
