About:Bifeng Gorge Panda Base

We were very sorry to hear that the Woolong National Reserve was destroyed during the earthquake, especially my daughter, who has adored pandas since see was a child. We hear that the reserve might be restored by 2011. A number of us are planning a trip to china in 2011 and would like to visit Woolong, to see and hold the pandas, if the reserve has been rebuilt.

When will the Woolong reserve be open to the public, and does the China Panda Protection and Research Center at Bifeng Gorge Base allow visitors to see and hold the pandas?

Bifengxia allow visitors to see panda and hold baby panda, but it is very expensive to hold a panda to take pictures. Perhapss 1000RMB for a coupld of minutes. A couple of years ago, it is no more than 200RMB.
