About:Shanghai Dining: What & Where to Eat

Hi! I am visiting Shanghai July 26-30th. I will be staying at the St. Regis hotel. I am attending the Expo, but I also want to experience some excellent local food. High on my list is actually beijing Duck! Where can I get the best duck? I had excellent beijing duck in Taipei and they even made a dish out of the remainder of the duck that was just as good as the main parts of the duck! Also, I want to go to places that locals love, not places that adjust their dishes to cater to tourists. I want to fully experience Shanghai cuisine!

Thank you! I am going to look into this one for sure! Also, is there a really popular dessert or pastry that is a must have there? Like in Taipei, Pineapple cake from Chia Te bakery was the big thing. Is there anything I should be on the lookout for?
