About:Chinese Consulate in San Francisco

Hello, I'm hoping to travel to China for work in August. I'm filling out my visa application and wonder about question 3.5. It asks "Have you ever visited China before?" My wife and I visited Hong Kong for 2 days in October 2009 while traveling through en route to Australia. Since Hong Kong uses a different Visa process, I'm unsure if that visit counts as a "yes" for question 3.5.

Do I answer yes and specify Hong Kong in the field for 3.6?

Thanks in advance,
Devin

Mr.Morton, you can answer YES, and specify HK accordingly for Question 3.6.

Mr.Morton, I don't know whether you get the China work visa or not, in my opinion, you can click 'No' about Question 3.5, "Have you ever visited China before", this application form is for Mainland China visa, it is not suitable for Hong Kong visa and Macau visa application.
