About:Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding

If we want to come to the breeding center and we are flying into the airport from Ningbo.... where would be the best and cheapest place to stay in order to easily get to and from the airport and also get to the breeding center. Any help would be appreciated. Also if you know how much the hotel rates would be.

Take airport bus to Minshan Hotel (岷山饭店). Then hotel is close to Xinnanmen Bus Station (Chengdu Tourism Hub), within walking distance. Take special bus line 902 at Xinnanmen station to the Panda center directly. You can stay at Minshan Hotel. If you want a good hotel, Shangri-la is nearby too.

Well, it costs only 30RMB or so by taxi from the city center to the Panda Breeding center. It is easy to take a taxi in the morning. Panda is lazy ans get up late in the morning. There will be something interesting at that time.
