About:China Visa Exemption

Hi, this is my situation, I live in USA with dual citizenship from USA and Colombia, and my mother has just a green card she is from Colombia also we are trying to go to Hong Kong and mainland china by train, we are trying to go to shenzhen. i know as an american citizen i do not need visa to go to Hong kong but i need visa to go China. What about citizens from Colombia. do we need visa to go to Hong Kong and China???

Colombia passport holders can stay in Hong Kong without a visa for not nore than 90 days. But still, they need to apply visa to mainland China.
