About:China Visa on Arrival

Hi! I was invited to a business trade fair just last week, which will be held on September 1. Unfortunately, my passport will expire on December 2010, which means it only have 3 months of validity. I tried to renew my passport, but according to the interview, the next slot will be on Aug 31, plus the 10 (rush) days of processing for the passport.

Can I still apply for a Chinese Visa even if it's only valid until December 2010?
Or if not, will I be legible to apply for the Visa on Arrival?

Sorry,Ms. Michelle, you can not get a visa-on-arrival. But you can have a try to apply for a visa with your current passport, with clear statement of your renew issues, invitation letter, etc.
