About:China Transit Visa

I am coming from the USA to Shanghai, and returning to the USA with less than 48 hours in Shanghai. Do I need a China visa?

Your case is not a transit through Pudong Airport or Hongqiao Airport of Shanghai, although you stay in Shanghai for less than 48 hours, you need a visa.
