About:China Visa Exemption

I am an Australian citizen and will be travelling to Beijing with my partner, an airline pilot for a 48 hour lay over. Do I need a visa to enter the city ?

No visa is required if you stay in a transit city for less than 24 hours without leaving the airport. Otherwise, you need to apply for a visa.
