Hi,

I hold a L visa(30days validity) and enter on the 23rd June. I will be leaving from China(either Hangzhou airport or Shenzhen border immigration) on the 25th July. That means I have overstay in China for 2 or 3 days. Will I be fined for it? Or do you recommend me to extend my visa (I can provide the hotel details,the problem is that I cant produce the US$100/day bank statements)?

What if I leave on 24th July instead? That means to say I have overstay by 2 days? Is it better?

Thanks a lot!=)

Ms.TAN JY, generally speaking, overstay in China for 2 or 3 days is not a big problem, maybe you will be fined or just be warned. When you exit the immigration, please apologize for your fault and say that you won't do so for ever. If the immigration officer is kind, you won't be fined.

Hi,

Is it to say that I may need to pay for the fine even I leave 2days after my visa expires? Because if this is the case, I am thinking of extending my visa.

Thanks a lot!

Yes, i think so, because it may do harm to your next trip to China or else.
