About:Chinese Temporary Residence Permit

My 1 year multiple entry L visa with 30 days stay with each entry will expire on Jan 2011.
I am married to a Chinese citizen for more than 5 years but cannot stay in China for more than 9 months due to the nature of my job which is Field Service Engineer assigned to many countries.
You have replied that it is possible to apply for the same L type but with at least 60 to 90 days stay per entry.
How do I do that - the immigration form available is not clear on that. Should I write a separate letter to the consul general in my country, next time I reapply for another L type visa?
Thanks.

The copy of your previous 1 year multiple-entry L visa and the marriage license are helpful for you to get a multiple-entry L visa with 60-90 stays per entry, generally speaking, the spouse of chinese citizen are easily to get such a kind of visa.
