Anybody know if it is still possible to change a china tourist visa to a china business visa in HK???..i heard you have to go back to your home country to do this?

As i know, the public security bureau in China have this service to change the L to F visa if you have all required documents for F visa application, but in most situations, the applicants are advised to go back to home country to apply for business visa, rule is rule, but when it applies, it varies greatly from place to place within Mainland China.
