About:Chinese Embassy in South Korea

Hello, I am being told from my travel agent that effective July 1st China requires additional document of foreign registration of some sort. However, due to new and recent changes, no one seems to know clearly what and where I need to inquire within. I only want to visit Beijing China for few days. Can someone help?

Now, if you want to get the China visa from China embassy in South Korea, you should hold the alien registration valid for at least 6 months.

Any suggestion where I may obtain alien registration validated for 6 month? My passport indicates I have 3 months in Korea at this point.
