About:China Train

Hi,
I will be there by mid of Oct. I am traveling alone.
I will arrive at Shanghai airport, Please help me on how to get to Beijing. What bus number or train route I should ride?
How much is the fare for bus or train?

Can someone help he check on nice & affordable hotel near Forbidden City?

I would appreciate any response. Thanks a lot! :)

From Shanghai to Beijing, almost all trains are departing from Shanghai Railway Station. And will you arrive at Shanghai Pudong airport? If yes, u can take the air bus line 5 to the railway station directly with ticket price of CNY18.00 per person.

For the train schedule and fare, u could search on the website. About the hotels near the Forbidden City, Days Inn Forbidden City, Beijing is a good choice.

Ms. Raine,
Me and my friend are also traveling by train from shanghai to Beijing and were booked at Days Inn hotel Forbidden City on Oct 17-19... Find this hotel nice, quiet and cozy...
