Hello

I am from Pakistan and married a chinese girl, and when i went to extend my visa, apply for "L" spouse visa, so they said i can not apply for this because i am holding "F" visa, so they said i should go to Hong kong and apply L visa there and then back and only then i am able to apply for spouse "L" visa.

So does some one has such information whether to go to Hong Kong and can apply "L" visa there and if Yes, so what documents do i need?

Suppose i can not go to HK, and i go back Pak, so then what sort of Documents do i need to apply for spouse family "L" visa with me?

I really hope some one experienced can response me soon.

Looking forward for the soonest possible response.

Your wife can write the invitation letter by herself, in fact, the most important requirements are the copy of your wife's passport or ID card, the marriage license, the marriage license should be certificated by Pakistan Foreign Affairs Ministry and China embassy/consulate in Pakistan.

Respected Sam

You are just wonderful, wish GOD give you the reward for helping people over here, i am sorry for asking so many questions because here i am again with a question, in fact with a confusion of your words "the marriage license should be certificated by Pakistan Foreign Affairs Ministry and China embassy/consulate in Pakistan. "
Could you please explain that what does that means "Should be Certificated" ?

Dear Mr.Razzaq

If you go to hongkong, you need to apply for hongkong visa, its still not a bad idea to go back to homeland and apply for family (L)visa maximum 24 months with multiple entries with Chinese Islamabad embassy.

All the documents said by Mr. Sam are correct.
