Hi, I have some question of the train route. From Nanjing to Hangzhou what type of train faster? Shall I take the Nanjing to shanghai then to Hangzhou or Direct from Nanjing to Hangzhou. My plan is from Hangzhou take train to shanghai then to Suzhou further to Nanjing. Lastly back to Hangzhou again. Pls give me an advice of the faster train to get in. thank you.

From Hangzhou to Shanghai, many D trains are available. And there are both D trains and high speed- G trains on Shanghai-Suzhou and Suzhou-Nanjing routes. From Nanjing to Hangzhou, you could take the fastest train on the route-D train directly, such as D5471 and D5589, which takes about 4 hrs.
