About:How to Apply for a China Visa

I wrote a post earlier, but I think it got deleted.

I have been teaching English in Korea for a year. Two travel agents said that the tourist visa restrictions for the China changed as of July1st. Now apparently they need my work visa and it was to be valid for another 6 months after I enter China. Basically my work visa is only valid for another week because I planned this trip for the end of my stay. This doesn't make any sense to me. I am a tourist why does my work have any thing to do with it? Does anyone know the explanation or a way around it?

Please help!
