About:Chinese Embassy in Singapore

Could anyone help me with this :)

Hi, I'm a Malaysian Passport holder, currently holding a China 6-mth multiple entry L visa (validity being 19Apr - 19Oct). I will be going to China on 30th July. and planned to utilise my visa for the following periods of stay in China. However, i'm not too sure can this work.
30th July - 20th Aug (1st renewal on 20th Aug)
20th Aug - 15th Sep (2nd renewal on 15th Sep)
15th Sep - 15th Oct (3rd renewal on 15th Oct)
15th Nov - 15th Nov (leave on 15th Nov)
Is this possible and viable?

In addition, am i allowed to apply for a new L Type visa in China upon expiry without exit China (since first enter on 30th July)

many thanks for your kind help.

Can you tell me how many days you are permitted to stay in China per entry? 30 days stay duration per entry?

You have to exit China when stay duration per entry will expire, then re-enter China for another stay duration per entry.

You can't enter China after 19 Oct, so you last planned stay period in China (15th Nov - 15th Nov)is not accepted, did you make a mistake, you want to say 15th Oct - 15 th Nov for your last stay rather than 15th Nov - 15th Nov?

If you enter China before 19th October, you can still stay in China for 30 days (up to the stay duration per entry on your visa). 19 Apri - 19 Oct is just the validity of visa, you can use the visa to enter China for many times, the stay duration is counted from the date you enter China. If you enter China on 19 Oct, you can stay in China until 17th Nov.

Dear Mrs Linda,

Good Day :)

Many thanks for your reply.

30days per entry.
yup it's a typo, it should be 15-Oct till 15-Nov :)

Is there any way i can just apply for a new L type visa in China without the trouble to exit and re-enter?

again, so much thanks for your kind help.

You can go to the local Exit & Enter Department under Public Security Bureau to apply for a new L visa, but I can't sure that you can certainly get it, it is up to the decision of immigration officer.

15th Oct. - 15th Nov is total 32 days, you have to exit Mainland China on 13th Nov because the 30 days stay duration will expire.
