What is the meaning of 000 in the duration of each stay in my Z visa?

It means Z visa doesn't have specified stay duration, you have to go through residential formalities in the local public security department within thirty days of entry into China. The valiidty of residence permit is the stay duration in China. Your employer can help you to get the residence permit at the local police station.
