Kunming is warmer and I think Lijiang and Dali is cooler. You may see snow in Jan. It is a bit cold in the morning and at night, 3-6 degrees, warm at noon, maybe 18-22 degrees. You need to bring sweater and wind-prood warm coat. It is windy in dali.
