About:China Customs Declaration

Hi there:

I am going to China and plan to live there for quite a while. I am holding USA passport as well as Hong Kong passport.
1. I wonder if I can ship my piano over to China. Who should I contact for the shipping? Does China charge the tax on the piano?
2. May I also bring/ship a car to china for personal use? Do I need to pay any tax at customs?
Thanks for your help.
-Jen

As I know you do not have to pay tax for piano to the custom if you provide your passport, visa, work permision, airway bill or water shipping bill. I have no idea about the car. You may contact the airlines to hhel handle your shipment.
