About:Chinese Embassy in UAE

I'm in American tourist visiting Dubai for only one week.
Can I get a tourist visa to go to China from here?

You can have a try to apply for China visa at the Consulate General of China in Dubai, but I can't 100% sure you can get it, now, for non-UAE applicants, UAE resident visa valid for more than 6 months is required.
