I will be staying in Guilin for 2 nights and I would like to take the Li River Cruise in Yangshuo. Is it possible to do this in 1 day and go back to Guilin? How far is Yangshuo from Guilin? Will I need to stay overnight at Yangshuo?

Yes, it is only about 1.5 hours from Guilin to Yangshuo by tourist bus and the cruise takes 4-5 hours. So, y ou have time to return to Guilin the same day if you do not want to stay one night in Yangshuo.
