About:Chinese Table Manners

I will be travelling soon to China with my girlfriend who does not like the thought of eating duck. Would it be impolite of me to tell her it is chicken as it is something I am really looking forward to trying?

Chicken and duck look different. If she don't like eating duck, you can order other dishes for her and order the duck for yourself.

The same thing Mr.Jamie said if she doesn't like the thought of eating duck than she can order a side and you can order duck.
