About:Chinese Embassy in Sri Lanka

I want to apply tourist visa for china and also my sri lankan friend who is currently stduying in china would like to sponsor me. Please let me know the required documents. Also do I need a visa officer?

Ms.Harshani, I hear that Si Lanka passport holders can't apply for individual tourist visa, you have to join a tour and apply for a group tourist visa, you need to enter and exit with other members together. If you go to China for visiting relatives, you can apply for individual tourist visa, however, he is just your friend, he is not your relatives, the tourist visa for family visit, the relationship certificate is required, so you have to apply for a group tourist visa.
