About:Changbai Mountain

Hello,

I am planning a trip to Changbai mountain in a few weeks. my friend and I would like to stay with a local Korean family. How can I arrange to do that? Should I wait until I get there or can a travel agency arrange it for me? I am currently in Changchun. Is there an office I can visit here to arrange that? Please let me know. Thanks

If you take train from Changchun to Er Dao Hai He Town (二道白河镇), you can fine home stay not far from the train station. That is not a problem for you get one after getting there. You can also contact offices of some big travel agencies in Changchun if you want a package tour.

One more thing:
Do you know which is cheaper: staying in a home or staying in a hotel? Or about how much a homestay might be per night?

It will be cheaper in a home, but not expensive in the hotel or hotel in the town. 100RMB per night is enough in a decent hostel.
