About:China Student Visa

I am a UK passport holder enrolled on a two year MBA programme in China starting in August. What type of Visa can my wife and child apply for?

Your wife and baby can apply for tourist visa (L visa ) for family visit, after arriving China, you can help them to get the temporary residence permit at the local Exit & Enter Department by bring your passport, residence permit and student visa on your passport, your wife and child need to show the marriage license and birth certificate.

The marriage license and birth certificate should be translated into Chinese version, then certificated by Uk foreign affairs ministry and China embassy/consulate in UK.
