About:Dual Nationality

i am considered a natural-born Filipino bec my mom was a Filipina (even if she was half Filipina and half-Spanish) but my father was Chinese (from the mainland). they are now both deceased. now i am thinking if i can apply for dual citizenship for being Chinese. will appreciate any reply from knowledgable person..thanks

China does not allow dual Nationality. If you want Chinese nationality, you will give up Philippine.

hi Ms Cindy...
thank u for the reply...appreciate it very much...it will be hard to denounce my Filipino citizenship and more so hard to acquire a Chinese citizenship since i have to immerse myself and stay in China for atlst one yr or more the most..i do understand this issue why they prefer non-dual...thank you again..
