About:Taiwan Weather

I plan go to Taiwan, Taipei on coming 1st Sep to 6th Sep. I would likr to know,
1. Understand that Sep is under typhoon season. May i know it is save this period i go to Taiwan?
2. What is the climate in this year Sep?

Early September is still in Typhoon season, but the influence is not as big as typhoon in August. It is still very hot in day time.
