About:China Visa Entries / Validity / Duration of Stay

We have an Indian engineer & he has a multiple china visa & valid until 15Oct2010. He want to renew his passport coz his passport will expire on Jan 2011. Can he still use his china visa or need to transfer his china visa to his new passport? please advise the procedure. thank you.

The visa on his old passport can't be transfered to his new passport, but he can take his old passport and new passport together, then the visa still can be used.
