About:Yungang Grottoes

We are Senior citizens..painter & photographer.
We plan to visit China in Oct. 2010..this may be our first & last visit to China
China has 4 major Buddhist grottes namely,1) Yungang Grottoes,2)Longmens caves 3)Magao caves & 4) Dazu caves.
We like to visit any two caves...avoide similarity in Statues.
Pl. advice which 2 caves we should visit ?
We also read about 1) Puning temple at Chengde & 2) Dafo temple at Zhengding...are they worth visiting ?
We will highly appreciate guidance.
Thanks.

I recommend Yungang and Dunhuang Mogao Caves. If you have no plan to visit Chengde, no need to visit Puning. Dafo is no worthwhile a special visiting. It is in Shijiazhuang. This is the first visit and perhaps the last. So, you should pick some other famous and significant places to see in China.
