yes, you need a tourist visa to go to China, first, please prepare the below documents:
1. Valid passport (at least six months before expiration) with blank visa pages and copy of the first three pages;

2. A truly and completely filled application form affixed with one passport-size or 2x2 colored photo, with white background, full-face front view, and no hat. Photo must be glued on the application form. Stapled pictures will not be accepted. Scanned photos will also not be accepted.

U.S. passport holders must submit two application forms with two photos.

3. copy of Valid Bangladesh visa or the entry stampt to Bangladesh on your passport

then submit the visa application to the China embassy in Dhaka in person or entrust someone else to do so.

it takes 4 working days for visa processing
