About:Weather, What to Pack and When Traveling to Tibet

We are thinking of visiting Lhasa in August. Is this a good time to go? Will it be very hot? My partner is a smoker so we are worried about the thin air in Tibet. Any suggestions on this?

Thanks!

august in tibet region is like a spring time in other parts of china.autumn is always the best time to travel. but u need to prepare sometime ahead of ur entry, for as a foreigner to travel in tibet requires permit, and u need to entrust an agency (better local or near tibet) to handle this for u!
