About:Best Time to Visit Beijing

I'm planning for a family trip to Beijing from 2nd Nov to 6 Nov 2010. What type of whether should i be expecting? I'm looking for an autumn vacation..but base on some of internet information i read, it is winter time. Is this true?

Yes, it will be the early winter in Beijing although there is no very chilly day. At least, please wear warm woolen sweater and coat.
