About:Chinese Embassy in U.K.

thankyou for last reply ,can you please tell me when i get papers back from foreign affairs dept.do i contact portland place for appointment will i get my single status authenitcated on same day plus can i get visa at same time from there if i ask for express service as i hope to fly out last 2 weeks july

Sorry, I don't know the processing time of Uk forign affairs department, I know that the processing time of authentication for China embassy/consulate in Uk is 4 working days, you can make online appointment with the China embassy/consulate in Uk on its official website, then make the authentication and china visa application together. I guess that the embassy/consulate will agree your appointment. If you just apply for China visa, you should go to the CVASC in London or Manchester.
