Dear Mrs. Linda,
as long as I know, Shenzhen is on SEZ (Special Economic Zone), which will let Indonesians to have the visa on arrival.
Are you going by sea or land?
I'm going there too, and this is what I kept on my mind.
Anyone please give response if this is right or wrong.

It is not certain that you can get a visa on arrival at the Shenzhen entry port, if the immigration officer feels that you will overstay in China or do illegal things, they won't issue a visa on arrival to you, it is advisable to get a China visa in Indonesia. If your application is refused in Indonesia, it is almost impossible for you to get a visa on arrival at Shenzhen entry port.
