Hi all

I am doing my stop over Kunming from Lijiang, due to the return timing of my flight. I just want to know can I visit the " stone forest " just within three hours ? how long is the journey from Kunming cities to "stone forest " ? and where is the best hotel to stay when all is arounded by shopping areas for a quick shop ?

I was in Kunming 2 days ago. Kunming Hotel - very very durty, inside hotel personal stolen my money. NEVER VISIT KUNMING HOTEL.

I'm afraid it's impossible to visit the stone forest within 3hours.It takes at least 2 hours to get there from Kunming City.
There are some nice hotels in Nanping street,the busiest commercial center in Kunming city,it's only a few kms from the airport.
