About:Chinese Embassy in Philippines

i over looked my allowed days of stay as a tourist in shanghai. at shanghai airport i was told that i was over staying and payed for a penalty of CNY5000.. i still plan to travel back in shanghai, can i still apply for tourist visa? will i still be allowed to have a visa??

yes, I guess you can still apply for tourist visa to China, generally speaking, if you overstay in China for less than 30 days and you pay for the fine and cooperate with the immigration officer and apologize for your fault, the record of overstay will be cleared. You are still allowed to have a China visa. Please bear in mind that you can't argue with the immigration officer.
