Hi,there
Giant Buddha and Po Lin Monastery are two separate attractions in Lantau Island, but not far from each other. You can head for them after you alight from the airport. Take S1 bus from the airport to Tung Chung Bus Terminus which is adjacent to the Ngong Ping Tung Chugn Cable Car Terminal and then you can take cable car up there for the two attraction. Also Ngong Ping Cable Car is another fatanstic experience. Actually, you can take the information on this page as a reference:

Wish you a nice trip there!

Ms.Shirley,
The Giant Buddha is located in the Polin Monastery. You can visit the Giant Buddha. It is true that Tung Chung Cable Car Terminal has lockers. But you need to pay for the storage fee.
