About:China Student Visa

Hello,
I'm filling in the Visa application form.
For a student visa.
for section 2.4 "longest intended stay in china"
If i'm staying in China for over 1 year at the university, do i write how many days I will be studying there?
Or do I just write '30' as the visa lasts that long?

Please don't worry it, the student visa (X visa) is only the interim certificate, the residence permit will decide how long you can stay in China.

Mr.Barron, you can write 365 days for the longest intended stay in China on the section 2.4 of the visa application form, we all know that the student visa (X visa) is valid for 3 months and single entry, holders have to apply for China residence permit within 30 days after entry. In fact, you can only stay in China for 30 days by holding the X visa. Therefore, it doesn't matter if you write 365 days for the stay in China.
