About:How to Choose China Train Ticket Types?

I intend to take an overnight train from Shanghai to Beijing on a weekday? Which class of train and what type of seat/sleeper do you recommend? I am a budget traveler who does not mind a little discomfort to save on transportation cost. Can you also buy a return ticket at the same time?

In that case, you can take a D train, such as taking a second class seat. For the tickets, you can make online bookings.
