Middle of July is not the best time to visit Longji Rice Terrace. You should go between Late May and Early June or in the half month after the Mid-autumn Day. As those are the time for the rice terrace to have water. Or you can also go in winter for beautiful snow scenery if you are lucky enough. July is the hottest month there.

Nevertheless, if you do not mind the hot,sticky days, you can have good shots and nice views. I only have the summer break to travel, so had to do it and had fun. Also go to Ping Li.
