About:China Tourist Visa

My husband and I will visit Beijing on Sept. Out flight booking is confirmed and paid. But we have not made any hotel arrangements because I would like to secure our visa prior to additional bookings. May we know the ff:
1. A tourist visa is required right?
2. How much is the visa fee per head?
3. Does the China embassy in Manila/Makati accept walk-in visa application?
4. How many days are the visa processing?
Thank you.

Yes, Mrs. Samson, a L visa is required. A Single-Entry Visa fee for Philippines passport holders is 1400 peso per head. The regular processing time is 4 working days. For express service, additional fees of 1700 peso/per for next-working-day releasing, or 1100 peso/per for third-working-day releasing will be charged.
