We're planning on getting the train from Beijing to Xian and from Xian to Shanghai. Which train, either the T or Z train is better in the sense of security and comfort? We would like the soft sleeper cabins but as theres just the two of us travelling we prefer a cabin for two.
And are the doors lockable so others can't make they're way in to steal our belongings whilst we're asleep on over night trains?
Do the cabins have their own toilet?
Thanks.

The Z trains is the best trains between Beijing, Xian and Shanghai. The doors of the cabins are lockable, but there is private toilet.
