About:Chinese Temporary Residence Permit

I have a Chinese girlfriend who owns an English School here in China. We plan to travel to my homeland to get married when I come back on a visitor pass I know I will have to apply for a temp residence visa will I be able to work in her school to help her I am aware that we will have to have been together for 5 years in order for me to apply for a permanent residence.

yes, spouses of Chinese citizens whose marriage has lasted for five years, and who have lived in China for five years in a row, the annual stay in China being no shorter than nine months, and who have stable and secured living status and place to live, they are qualified to apply for Permanent Residence Permit.

I am aware that I can apply for a perm res but what I as is will I be able to work in her School while am on a temp visa

It is illegal to work in a school in China if you don't get the work permit from the State Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs.
